Hi Sapna ji,
You know what this is happening to me from last 2 days. But a bit of a change , at my place from last two days ,my internet connections is not comming due to some technical problems. For the first day i waited the whole day in front of my work screen ,keeping my eye on the singnals ,that now it will come.So totally lost a whole day then yest again same ,signal didnt came so i decided to do things which i never get time from last 5 6 months.
I read newspaper , i played my guitar , i meet my all friends ,i watched 2 movies and alot more.
But these two days taught me something that there is some different world out side blogging which i use to be there before my blogging career.
Thank You

You are spot on, there are 2 separate world, offline and online. It is better to get the best of both. I have been missing many friends which I met almost after 3 months and then went for a drive as well, Read Newspapers which I have missed for the last 4 months. I feel many of us have felt the need of a day without electricity.

Hi Sapna,

I am beginning to like the style of your blogging, its very unique and different from other all other bloggers style
Regarding your post, I’m still facing same problem here because of the country I come from and reside in. There is constant power failure and a bad internet server/connection, this resulted to me using my mobile device to write and publish new articles because the mobile network is pretty cool.
My device has been my companion for long and really I cant leave it behind.

The day without electricity (without blogging) is boring for me, but according to your Infographic, It’s interesting too.
That means electricity is helping a blogger to enjoy his/her day with friends and family. I do face this situation sometimes

Hi Sapna,

Nothing is possible without a power source. We can’t deny that fact, eh?
There’s something we can learn that we need to aware of what goes in real World than the online World dear
Many online folks get to know that when they can’t get to online and the loved ones could be missing our love too. Our loved ones sacrificing their time for us to be busy all day, it’s not us who spending all day
We need to remember that.
So I do try to take some time away to spend time without thinking about my blog too and I’m trying to balance that ’cause when they leave this World forever, we have no other option left. Life is uncertain
Ah one things, I’m glad if you have added the URL at the bottom of Infographic, so that would be much professional dear

Seems as if the blogger enjoyed himself. Perhaps a divine intervention that he did not have the electricity for the day. The moral of the story could be that one should take time out from blogging once in a while and talk to your neighbours, friends and family. Nice one Sapna.

Hi Sapna,
I loved this infographic. It made me laugh!
When we spend so much time online, we forget how enjoyable the offline world is!
I had my first taste of no internet connection, TV, radio etc when I went on a 10 days meditation retreat around 2 and a half years ago. At the beginning of the retreat I was in serious doubt as to how I would cope. However, it only took a little time to adjust and I realised I didn’t really need to be digitally connected as much as I thought.

Meditation retreat is really very nice way for the new beginnning.

Haha Sapna,
This post resonates with me for sure,
Its really exciting indeed as i always experience a total blackout down here, sometimes it will even last for like 3 days. Although, i normally feel very sad about the whole thing because i know what i normally miss.
So what I’m trying to say is simply that, I normally enjoy it sometimes but it can also get annoying especially in a situation whereby you just finished writing a blog post after being offline for like 2 whole weeks, when you finally want to hit the publish botten, they took the light and you now discovered that you laptop has not been charging all these while and you’re already seeing a low battery signal.
Now, luckily to you, you have a generator but when you went to start it, it broke down.
That can be very boring my dear, I’ve experienced it before.
A very interesting post though, thanks for sharing.

Hi Sapna, After Hurricane Sandy, people in our area were without electricity for days, sometimes weeks at a time. We were lucky, we only lost electricity for about 13 hours. I felt very bad for the people, especially since they didn’t have a way to heat their homes. Getting on the Internet was the least of their worries!

I have had this happen to me before and the lesson learned was there is nothing that cant wait. I just got a chance to do some good old fashioned writing. I actually used paper and a pencil. Which was really hard to find that day.
But settling in i actually worked on the things that most people dont spend enough time on, my reason “WHY” I gave thought to the things I wanted to accomplish and the lives that I wanted to touch. It worked really well and was quite productive as it gave me motivation to not be so focused on the routine but focus on the results I wanted to have in my life.

Some transformer blew and we were without electricity all day long. It’s really boring so I read instead. Most of my neighbors work so they weren’t here anyway.
Now when Hurricane Ike came through here a few years back we were without electricity for 10 days. That’s really hard because others were getting their power back on so I went and stayed with my brother for the remaining 4 days and it’s not fun at all. It can get quite boring because as soon as it starts to get dark you can’t really read anymore.

Another very good infographic, here where we live in Greece we are on an island and we often have power cuts and sometimes for all day, other times just for a couple of hours so I am used to it now after living here for 5 years. I must admit I miss being online when this happens, if I cannot turn on my laptop and get connected I feel like I have had one of my arms cut off!!
The other side to this is we all need to take a break and going a day without power or just not switching on our laptops/PC’s is a great chance to do other things like meet up with friends or family, reading a newspaper or book, going for a walk, I enjoy walking along the beach, although it is hard to tear ourselves away I think it will be good for all of us.
