How Blogger Killed a Software Programmer – A True Story(Infographic)

This is the Post which depicts how a Software Programmer was Killed by the Passionate Blogger, who discovered this Passion of his bit Late. This Story completely resonates with me. I feel Many of the Fellow Bloggers must have discovered this Passion at one point or the other and many are living by it, surely for some there would have been a Trigger which led them in Blogosphere.

  4. Hi Sapna,

Nice one and I think it mostly relates with you as I know about you so far :)

I haven’t found blogging until 2011 ’cause I had no Internet connection until that time :D lol…

Well, I love helping people and that made me start blogging. There’s no doubt :) I’m in both software development and blogging. As a whole I love Technology no matter what. The thing I don’t like is serving people who has no value and respect for other people. I only had one job before my final year of degree and that’s it for yet.

So far software development is for folks I knew and I enjoyed it so much. Now I’m taking more time for blogging and offering solutions :) Either way, I love what I do and meet like-minded people everywhere.

    Cheers…

Thank you so much. It completely resonates with me.
You have been helping everyone with your great posts and I want to remain student for ever.

Software Development is what I use to cherish a lot but nowadays it has become a second priority for me, difficult to concentrate on both.

Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts and commenting.

  5. Hi Sapna,
This is awesome infographic, actually I started blogging because I have so much passion on it, I have launched so many blogs which was later acquired from me and through blogging I got some job opportunity which I’m doing right while still blogging.

So if not the passion I have on it, I don’t think I would have even own a site by now.

    Thanks for your awesome post

    • Hi Valentine

Thanks for that. Great to know, you have been creating value and then surely selling at premium and pocketing millions.

I need to learn many things from you.

  6. Again a classic masterpiece of an inforgraphic. Well created and makes a lot of sense. A blogger is born and how many will die, its something to think about. Nonetheless, a blog is still a good idea for engagement.
Hope to see a follow up, best wishes.

  10. Hi Sapna,

Another great post. Love the idea of the info-graphic. It is a great, creative one.

Well, I love to write but the idea of blogging was not at all in my mind. When I joined the Network Marketing Industry, I started to learn about Personal Branding and how to use attraction marketing for sponsoring. I started looking for the best ways to market and brand myself. There were a lot of options but what resonated most with me was blogging and facebook marketing. I set up my blog and I started blogging and I fell in love with it.

Thanks for such a great post Sapna,

  17. A good laugh there. but the truth is, not only programmers are being killed like this everyday. Even great entrepreneurs who would have built great flourishing businesses are being killed. Many start a blog to run their businesses because blogging is the in thing but no sooner do they realize that the time to run the blog is more than building their businesses. The end? The business is abandoned for the blog!

I didn’t start out this way but I can definitely see the mistakes a lot of people are making when it comes to this route. You definitely nailed it here. Just replace programmer with anyone and you are calling their name.

    Great post and fun too!

  25. Hi Sapna

    Love the Infographic!

I guess I got into blogging for the hypothetical money! I did an online course about product creation and that’s where my blog started from. I carried on the blog but never finished the product. Terrible!

Now I see blogging as a way of connecting with others and from there who knows what might happen. It’s also something for me to do when I’ve got a couple of minutes here or there during the day.

  26. Wow, Sapna – what an amazing infographic – just love those scary pictures! You’re very clever to put that together.

I got into blogging by accident really, after exploring internet marketing for a year or so. I eventually landed on a course that taught me how to set up an authority website, using a blog format – and the trainer went into the whole blog commenting thing, which I didn’t really know anything about.

I never expected to enjoy it as much as I do – it’s great fun!

To be honest with you, I really like the infographics.

    THANKS.

  32. Love the way you’ve told the story. My blogging started out as an avenue for my slight silliness, then over time it developed in to something more. I was picked up by my local cinema to do film reviews on my blog, then that progressed to working with some rather big named celebs, which then got me picked up to work with my local radio station.

So since starting my blog back in 2008, I’ve built a reputation as a reviewer, radio presenter, friend of the celebrities and work-a-holic, all thanks to my blog, which is still the love of my career, so when people say blogs are a waste of time, I just have to totally disagree.

Blogging is what you make of it and success is something that comes from lots and lots of hard work ;)

  33. Hi Sapna,

What an interesting way to tell a story.

I used to be a computer teacher and while in class I always felt the need to have better materials to use in classroom. This drove me to writing and later I started to publish. Now I’m been an online tutor at icttrends.com.

The blogging really impressed and started a blog for couple of years. Recently when I sold my previous blog started bivori.com. Its still a baby but I’m working on it.

Don’t know if it is killing myself or something new born out of me :D
